Subaru came to us with a bold challenge: to completely reimagine their digital presence and bring greater unity across their apps, in-car experiences, and brand messaging. They trusted our team to lead the creative direction and deliver a vision that not only modernized their platforms but stayed true to the heart of the Subaru community. It was an opportunity to build something meaningful—from the ground up—with long-term impact across every digital touchpoint.

Over the course of eight months, my team and I partnered with Subaru to completely redesign and rename their in-car and mobile app experiences. We transformed the Solterra app into Subaru Connect, and reimagined the STARLINK app as the new MySubaru. These updates go beyond just a fresh look—both applications are being rolled out across all vehicle head units and as brand-new mobile apps, complete with redesigned logos and updated email collateral.
The goal was to bring stronger cohesion to Subaru’s digital ecosystem and better align the user experience with the brand’s messaging. Both Subaru Connect and MySubaru now live under the umbrella of Connected Services, a new initiative designed to encapsulate Subaru’s mission to keep drivers more seamlessly—and meaningfully—connected to their vehicles and the Subaru community.
We also began curating a new campaign, I <3 MySubaru, to bring the Subaru community together under one unified platform. I was part of the logo redesign team, helping shape a bold new visual direction for the brand.
